(And for the yankees who don’t have Chick-fil-a, yet ANOTHER reason to come to the wedding!)

Yesterday we spent the afternoon with our photographer, Kelly Talele from Eclectic Photo.
We love Kelly so much because she seems to really “get” us, so much so that when we suggested meeting at The Highlander, she didn’t even flinch :)
It was a lot of fun just hanging out and being our (silly) selves. We started at The Highlander, where Brian proceeded to beat me in air hockey for the umpteenth time, walked over to some abandoned tracks for that urban vibe, then over to Virginia Highland. We even got to do some shopping at Richard’s Variety Store for props for the photobooth!
Here’s a sneak peek:
Emory University, the location of our wedding venue the Houston Mill House, have taken their sustainable-food initiatives even further.
One of the reasons we love that we’re having our wedding here is because of Emory’s commitment to the environment. Yay green!
We just wanted to remind those of you traveling to Atlanta for the wedding about hotel reservations.
Discounted reservations are available until October 15. There are two hotels adjacent to the wedding & reception site. Details can be found here on our accommodations page.
We can’t wait to see you all!
Allow me to be the computer nerd for just a second.
Just wanted to let everyone know that some light comment moderation is turned on. What that means is that if you’ve never previously left us a comment, it will go into a moderation queue for one of us to approve. It’s a way to prevent comment spam, which we hate.
So, if you leave a comment and it doesn’t show up right away, there’s probably an email in our inboxes asking us to take a look and approve. You don’t need to resubmit the comment. Give it some time and it’ll most likely show up. Unless you’re trying to sell us prescription drugs from Canada. Those will not get approved.
Thanks for stopping by. We look forward to future comments!
So, we’re about 2 months slow… but they’re here! Click on “Photos” at the right, or go straight to the album here by clicking on the photo below:
